You tapped Withdraw, the app said “Processing”, and nothing has reached your bank. It is the most stressful moment in any real-money app, and the most common reason readers contact us.

Most stuck withdrawals come down to a short list of causes, and most of them can be fixed from your side. This guide covers the nine causes we see most often and what each withdrawal status actually means. If you have never withdrawn before, read the step-by-step Yono UPI withdrawal guide first. This page is for when something has gone wrong.

What Each Withdrawal Status Means

Typical status labels in Yono apps (wording varies slightly between apps)
StatusWhat it meansWhat to do
Processing / Under reviewRequest received, waiting for the operator’s automated or manual checkWait. Most clear in 5 to 30 minutes; allow up to 24 hours
PendingSent to the payment gateway, not yet confirmed by the bankWait for bank confirmation; avoid submitting duplicates
Failed / RejectedRefused by the operator or bankRead the reason, fix it, then withdraw again. The amount normally returns to your wallet
Success / CompletedOperator says the money was sentCheck your bank statement; if missing after 24 hours, use the UTR number with your bank

The 9 Most Common Causes

  1. You are trying to withdraw bonus money. Sign-up bonuses and deposit bonuses usually sit in a separate bonus wallet with a wagering requirement. Check the “withdrawable” or “winning” balance, not the total.
  2. Wagering is incomplete. Some apps require deposits to be played through a set number of times before withdrawal. The requirement is usually shown in the bonus or wallet section.
  3. Below the minimum. Most Yono apps set ₹100; Yono VIP sets ₹200. Check the app’s review page in our directory.
  4. Name mismatch. The name on your UPI ID or bank account must match your KYC name. A payout to a family member’s account is a common rejection reason.
  5. Wrong UPI ID or IFSC. One wrong character sends the request to fail. Re-enter the details carefully; for bank transfers, copy the IFSC from your passbook or bank app.
  6. KYC not complete. Larger withdrawals (often above ₹10,000 in a month) trigger a PAN, and sometimes Aadhaar, check. Until it is approved, withdrawals wait.
  7. Bank or UPI downtime. Banks and NPCI have maintenance windows, often late at night. A request made at 2 a.m. can sit in “Pending” until morning.
  8. Duplicate or linked accounts. Registering several accounts on one device to claim bonuses repeatedly gets accounts frozen. There is no fix for this beyond contacting support.
  9. Payment route blocked. Real-money operators have faced payment restrictions since India’s 2025 online gaming law (see our explainer). If one method keeps failing, try another supported method (UPI instead of IMPS, or the reverse).

“Success” in the App but No Money in Your Bank

This is the case that worries people most, and there is a clear process for it.

  1. Open the withdrawal record in the app and copy the UTR / reference number. A genuine completed payout has one.
  2. Check your bank statement, not only SMS. SMS alerts are sometimes delayed or missed.
  3. Wait 24 hours. Most “success but not received” cases resolve on their own as banks settle.
  4. After 24 hours, contact your bank with the UTR number and ask them to trace the credit.
  5. If the app shows “Success” but never shows a UTR, contact in-app support in writing and keep screenshots.

How to Contact Support Effectively

Use the in-app support or ticket option so there is a written record. Include your user ID, the withdrawal amount, date and time, the payment method, and a screenshot of the status. One clear message gets a faster answer than five short ones.

Support will never need your OTP, UPI PIN or a screen-share. Anyone who asks for them, or asks you to pay a “release fee”, is running a scam. Our real-or-fake checklist lists the other warning signs.

How to Avoid Withdrawal Problems in the First Place

  • Register with the same name that appears on your bank account.
  • Add and verify your UPI ID before you need it.
  • Make a small test withdrawal soon after your first deposit.
  • Read the bonus terms once, so you know which balance is withdrawable.
  • Withdraw during daytime banking hours when possible.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a Yono game withdrawal take?

Most Yono apps list payouts within 5 to 30 minutes for standard UPI withdrawals. Allow up to 24 hours before treating a withdrawal as stuck, especially at night or on bank holidays.

Why is my Yono withdrawal pending for a long time?

Common reasons are bank or UPI downtime, a KYC check on larger amounts, or the operator’s manual review. If it stays pending beyond 24 hours, contact in-app support with your user ID, amount and a screenshot.

Why can’t I withdraw my Yono bonus?

Welcome and deposit bonuses usually sit in a bonus wallet with a wagering requirement. Only the withdrawable or winning balance can be cashed out, and only once it reaches the app’s minimum, usually ₹100.

The Yono app says withdrawal successful but I did not receive money. What should I do?

Copy the UTR or reference number from the withdrawal record, check your full bank statement, and wait 24 hours. If the money is still missing, contact your bank with the UTR number so they can trace the credit.
